Your child's first few dental visits: what to know by age
The first visit, recommended by age one or within six months of the first tooth, is mostly about your child getting comfortable in the chair and with our team, often just a gentle look and a conversation with you about early habits like thumb-sucking and bottle use. By age two or three, most kids can tolerate a light cleaning and a full exam.
